Privacy Policy — Simple Timer

1. Introduction

Simple Timer (“the App”) is a mobile app providing a countdown timer and stopwatch. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the App and how it is handled.

2. Information the App Collects

Information stored only on your device

Your timer settings and theme (light/dark) selection are stored only on your device. This information is never transmitted externally and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

The App does not collect any personally identifying information such as your name, email address, phone number, or address. No account registration is required.

Information collected by a third party for advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process the following on Google’s behalf, for ad delivery and fraud prevention:

Advertising identifiers (iOS IDFA, Android Advertising ID)
Information about ad impressions and taps
Approximate location inferred from IP address
Technical information such as device type and OS version

This information is processed under Google’s own privacy policy. The App’s developer does not separately obtain or store this information.

Regarding tracking on iOS: The App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. Accordingly, IDFA is not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

3. What the App Does Not Use

The following are included in the App’s build but are disabled in the current version and do not collect any information:

Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics — not initialized because no configuration has been provided
In-app purchases (RevenueCat) — not enabled

This policy will be updated before either of these is enabled.

4. Purpose of Use

Collected information is used by Google for ad delivery and fraud prevention. The developer does not use this information for usage analytics or for any purpose other than advertising.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

The information described above is processed by Google under its own privacy policies.

No information is disclosed to any third party other than the above.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. How to Limit Ad Personalization

iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off “Personalized Ads”
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → “Delete advertising ID”

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is changed, this page will be updated and the “last updated” date revised. Material changes will also be announced within the App.
